A Tale Of Sanitary Pad

As a still menstruating women, personally I'm not fond of having pools of blood left behind on the chair. I reached puberty at age 12 and since then I have love-hate relationship with sanitary pad. My friend on secondary school once advised me to wash it clean. If I didn't, the hantu (ghost) will come and suck the blood and I would die.

Nowadays, when I look at the sanitary packet in Guardians, I will always think of the following:

1) The sanitary pad must be long enough to keep me from leave any stain on my chair.
2) Non-scratchy pad to keep me  away from diaper rash.

Men don't have a clue about what menstruation really is and have never experience it every month. I once make a boyfriend of mine buy me sanitary pad and he totally get freak. Wing-pads and non wing-pads? Light-days, heavy-days, night flow? What the heck?? It's really frighten him out of hell. He says he looks gay buying it. Will he later relate ipad to sanitary pad??  I'd give up after that  ^__ ^

Sometimes I wonder how men react when see sanitary pad's commercial on TV. Do they imagining what is behind the pad? The shape of the pad? The things under the pad?? Will the pad stuck on their brain all the time?? Aiyaa...... want to pray also cannot!

The Gift

Currently Reading: The Gift by Cecelia Ahern.

Cecelia Ahern is a creative writer. I really admire her work. When I look at the cover, I actually don't expect much. This is the third novel from Cecelia Ahern I have read and will never able to put it down so far.  Do not spoil it for me if you've read it.

Till then

Something To Perk My Skin UP

Ok, time for product review..

>

This is Dior Capture Total One Essential Serum. I'm not buying this myself but I got it from my sister. She claimed it was a great serum that I would notice results within a week. I was skeptical to believe her because I have never found a product that would work so fast. She changed to SKII somehow. (LMAO).

This is the best serum I had ever used and the most expensive. *cries*
Yeah right, it would have to give me a perfect skin to be worth that.

>

Before this I'm using unbranded product and all I can say is it's like going from Nissan to Mercedes!  You can tell by how awful I look before this. Well, with dark circle under my eyes, oily skin and my hair all over the place.

This product is like a bless from above as it made my pores almost visible and evened out my skin tone just after three days. I only applied it once a day in the morning.

Base on others reviews about this product, I can tell that:

  • It helps eliminate surface toxins on the skin
  • Help reveal clearer, brighter skin that is more line free.
  • Two drop will suffix the entire face, it soak in instantly.
  • This serum help exfoliating your skin and is supposed to help absorb the active ingredients from other cream better.
That seems to be true because my skin is plumpier and softer in the morning.
I took this picture right after I woke up this morning after I brush my teeth of course.

Hehehe

Don't ask me if I already take my bath prior taking this picture because as honest as I can be, I hadn't yet.

Smelly??? That's my sacrifice effort for you, so you're most welcome.

One thing I don't like about this product is that you can't see how much you have left in the container, So I never know if I'm about to run out.

Above else, I really love this product but the price tag is nasty. A good birthday present for me because I can't afford to buy myself. :)

So I hope you guys happy reading this while I'm taking my bath and apply this serum.

Stay Well

Oh My Choco-Date

In case you didn't know, this dates are the most delicious dates that I ever taste!! It produce in Dubai and the only way I can get this date when I fly with Malaysia Airlines. During fasting month, MAS will distribute this freebies to all passenger while boarding.

I'm not really into dates but I just can't say NO to this one. I am really, really into this dates. If you travel in business class you can get TWO pieces but for economy class they give ONLY one.

Unfortunately, I have to travel in economy class for this trip. As I boarding, I saw the stewardess standing there and give away this date to every passenger. So I was so excited and thought maybe I can negotiate with the stewardess to get me at least two chocodates.

Well, customer always RIGHT, aren't we? This stewardess won't lose anything if she gives me more. We should be more generous in fasting month and so does this stewardess. In fact, I pay hundreds of ringgit to fly with MAS just to get one Chocodate.

Consider it as sedekah to me, so I asked her "Can I have two?" as she handed the dates to me. With every smile on her face she says "Only One, Miss". Damn! She won't get fired just because she gave me extra dates for God sake!!!

I can't believe I say this but I turned to her and say "Kedekut! (You stingy!)" She just smiles at me politely . Now you can call me  rude but before you judge me, have a taste of this date first. You'll know how it feels like to be in my shoes then. *hides in shame*
ONE Chocodates will never be enough.

Missed Home...

What it feels like to be missed?

I hate the fact that I missed home while I'm abroad.

I missed my bed

My pillow and the smell I left on it. :)

I hate the fact that no matter how comfortable the bed is provided by the hotel, I still miss my OWN bed.

Do you missed me, Bed?

18 Hours Shoot!!

I have a story for you... About Him..
.
.
.
.

He loves me, does He? Or maybe He forgotten me.

I turn to my sis and say "He has forgotten me"
Sis:  Don't say that. He loves you that's why He test you
*rolling her eyes*
Me: Do I need to be tested before I get what I desire?
Sis: Yess, off course!

I keep my eye on my watch. The last time I ate was 12 hours before. The clock is ticking but time has seem not moving at all. I try to focus on other thing. Watching TV, shopping, playing games, just name it. I did everything to keep me going but I feel weak. I feel like a zombie. Half dead, half alive. I can't move on. I try to get in touch with Him but to no avail. It gets disconnected. I never feel this way before. I keep on praying and keep on crying.

Sunset makes me giddy, like there's a butterflies on my stomach. I feel alive for a second time. I feel stronger than ever. I heard the most beautiful Azan ever as the Imam from the Central Mosque of London call to pray. Yess!! That's it! I long waited for this Azan and long waited to break my fasting.

Goshhhhhhh!!!I have prayed, begged and asked from God to give me strength. A happier life with loads of food. Is it too much to ask for?  By the end of the day, with every patience I take, He grant me with what I desired. I'm longing for foooooddddd... 18 hours of fasting is really crazy challenging.

Anyhow to lose hope is to lose faith in God. Have patience for God will grant you with what you want. What you desire. Even you're desiring for foods... I survived! *chin up*

This is the whole new experience for me. Fasting for 18 hours a day in London.  Two more weeks to go. Wish me luck.

 * All muslims around the world are fasting during this holy Ramadhan month during the daylight hours from dawn to sunset. When Ramadhan fell in the summer, fasting often tough.

What's Real in Phuket

It's far from me to tell you what to do in Phuket but there are some gems that you really should not missed out while visiting this island. And I don't mean that kind of gems that sold as jewelers.

Phuket main area has pretty much one road going up and one road going down so it is pretty hard to get lost. This place make me broody in a moment. The sales assistant here treat me like a movie star but the truth is, I'm just a super chronic shopaholics that say "Yessss, I'll take them" to everything they display in the shop without considering how much money left in my pocket.

Be it just a tuk-tuk's driver, the tailors or a masseuse, they are really into business mantra. They gets me annoyed!

A Speedy Worth

It was four o'clock by the time I finally leave Star Hill and back to my fantasy island along with hysterical excitement at what I've just done. What I've just bought.

I know I went just planning to buy a single mascara from Benefit, but I ended up.... Well, I suppose I just got a bit... carried away.

So my final list of purchase goes like this:

Girl's Obsession

I think for a man, shopping is just "wham, bam, and thank you ma'am. Get it on, get it over, get home. Obviously our gender absolutely has nothing in common. Men go shops to buy things. As simple as that. But women go shopping for a plethora reasons. We browse, we dawdle,we flick through racks of clothes we have no intention of buying. I will even come home having absolutely nothing left in my pocket and consider it a day well spent.

The Memoirs of Cik Gu

Tribute to all teachers around the globe

It's kinda lame for me, still alive and yet still not posting any entry for teachers day. I'm extra out-dated, so I decide to give it a go. We are still in the month of May, aren't we?

To me, teaching is a profession that leaves highly recognizable mannerism. It is fascinating and alarming, how you get stuck with the habits of your profession. Habits of thought, speech and action.

I'm belong to the generation where I remember the old style where the teacher went
"The capital city of Japan is Tok-"
and the pupils chorused
 "-yo....."

This went throughout the whole lesson.
"Everyday you must stu-"

"-dy"
me and the other classmates replied

"If you don't study you become stu-"

"-pid"
we chorused happily

"Stupid like buffa-"

"-loes"
the whole class shout!

Sometimes I have to be over careful not to give the wrong tail. I once dropped a very brick this way:

Teacher: Have you been to the Arkib Negara?
They say the resources they providing is use-"

"-less!" I say innocently not knowing or forgetting the other possible suffix "-full"

And when it time for Sejarah (History) lesson, half of us would act blindly staring half asleep at the whiteboard. Who cares what's the name of the ship that brought Alfonso de' alberque (or whateva the name is) to Malacca? But my teacher will give this ferocious glare and yells "Listen!" which suddenly the crowd awake and is as fresh as gold right through the session.

I must admit if there's no teachers, there will be no prime minister or any other profession .

How many of us are stuck with the habits of our profession?
I'm sure that retired army man lived like a civilian during their service. They force to leave unmistakable marks.

And what it feels like to be a journalist? Do they have this habit greeting the news of landslide or earthquake with the cry "Good! This will hit the front head!" or they sigh "What?? Only 400 dead?"

Still, I think teachers give my life full of spice. Something to learn, something to laugh on,something to influent to. If there's no teachers, then I wouldn't aware to stop myself from correcting my grammar.

 Or Would I?

My Pillow Talk

If you peek at my tiny library, you'll find shopaholic books and fashion magazines. But my book beside my bed is my REAL book, book with Doa. I've been grow up sleeping beside either Quran or Yassin. Just to avoid the ghost to disturb me.

I'm all grown up . I realize that the meaning of each Verses had give me the confident to get through the night and the day.Knowing there is something to hold onto when you wake up from nightmare is somehow comforting.

When life can't make sense anymore and despite of the sympathy I get from others, there's always an emptiness. And all I want is someone to hold on to and tell me is all right.

And then when I question why did this have to happen to me or why did I do to deserve this?
When I couldn't find the answer from my family and friends, I turn to God to have one to one Pillow talk.

Even though I never hear God speak it out, and I will feel disappointment in the beginning, soon I will become calmer cause I am heard.
I have no one but God. We have to realize this is what nature is all about.
Need a Pillow talk anyone? :)

It's Been A while

This blog is set up for that reason: I enjoy writing and I want to be a writer.
Of course my friend have this idea "Huh?? All the stories about your lunch and all that down the tube?"
Sheesh! That sound pretentious.

I'd love to blog and could just be done with it. But let's be realistic. We have our own life, so instead of bitching about nothing to gain more traffic, we work in order to sustain the art of writing. I don't rendered a doormat to my readers. I don't want  them to read something full of crap.

So what have I been to?? I decided to live out my Prince William fantasy in Buckingham Palace. The past is past. It's not my precious anymore. Time to move on. Haha!

I must admit that I have loads of work and there's life out there. Great life. Like with friends YAZ, NAS,KNK and the new friends I made over the years.

Now I need that space, my writing space and my space-space
Will I blog again? Hell, yes with one or two mosquitoes passing my ears, NO?

Time for me to sit on my chair ,work on my stories and blow my own trumpet.

Stay Well.
